Oakland School for the Arts
Founded in 2000 as a college preparatory school for the arts, OSA is a public charter school and is the top ranked high school in Oakland, where 100% of its students are accepted to colleges and universities. Students major in dance, instrumental music, vocal music, visual arts theater, or literary arts, while still taking traditional academic classes. In 2008, the school will be relocated to the Fox Theater allowing students to immerse themselves in the thriving Uptown art scene.
